How to read this spread
In each row, the middle card sets the emphasis and its neighbours clarify it. The connected reading follows the cards from left to right and compares the middle cards of the three rows.
This spread uses 36 cards, with no jokers or reversed meanings. A court card describes a role or way of acting that anyone can express.
The meanings are Esonum's original adaptation of P. R. S. Foli's Fortune-Telling by Cards (1915). The 36-card selection, nine-card layout and connected reading were developed for this version; this is not Foli's original spread.
The cards offer symbolic images for reflection. The Possible development row describes a conditional scenario to compare with your circumstances.
